Techician - Mechanic

HGrégoire Hyundai Vaudreuil is looking for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join its team!

Schedule:

- Full-time;
- Permanent.

Responsibilities:

- Perform all work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, according to dealership and manufacturer standards;
- Diagnose the cause of mechanical issues and perform the necessary repairs;
- Identify vehicle issues based on customer concerns and your own inspection;
- Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain the required parts;
- Inspect assigned vehicles to determine whether additional safety or maintenance work is required;
- Notify the Service Advisor and/or Shop Foreman as soon as possible if additional work is required, if the work described is unnecessary or if repairs cannot be completed;
- Install optional equipment requested by the customer or dealership;
- Report any equipment defects or malfunctions to your immediate supervisor;
- Document all completed and recommended work on the repair order;
- Perform road tests when necessary;
- Participate in required training programs to keep your skills up to date, as well as manufacturer-sponsored events;
- Stay up to date on manufacturer technical service bulletins;
- Perform other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

- Training in diagnostics and mechanical assembly, including engines, transmissions and suspension systems;
- DVS in Automotive Mechanics (required);
- Strong diagnostic skills;
- Ability to work efficiently;
- Commitment to quality workmanship;
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills;
- Good physical condition.
