Service Advisor

Your mission:

Be the trusted link between customers and the service shop by translating technical needs into clear, effective, and cost-efficient solutions.

You are:

Your responsibilities:

- Welcome and assist customers (in person, by phone, and online), clearly explaining repairs, costs, promotions, and recommended preventive maintenance options;
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments (phone, web, Point-S) while following up on messages (text messages, emails, and internal communications);
- Gather customer and vehicle information before arrival to maximize operational efficiency;
- Prepare and explain detailed estimates (labour, parts, tires, warranties, and additional services) and obtain customer authorization;
- Monitor repair progress by communicating any changes, obtaining required approvals, and ensuring work progresses as planned;
- Advise customers on the purchase of tires, wheels, accessories, and complementary services (lubrication, inspections, manufacturer-recommended maintenance);
- Open, update, and close repair orders according to established procedures;
- Manage courtesy vehicles (logbook, maintenance, and related documentation);
- Perform road tests with customers when necessary to confirm or clarify vehicle concerns and communicate findings to the technician;
- Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality, including post-service follow-ups and customer retention initiatives;
- Participate in end-of-day closing procedures (reports, cash reconciliation, collaboration with the Shop Foreman and Service Manager);
- Verify warranty coverage before repairs are initiated;
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and present yourself professionally as a positive ambassador of the company.
