Job description
Parts Clerk - permanent full-time position.
Working closely with the Parts Manager, the candidate will be responsible for greeting retail, internal, and wholesale customers, gathering the necessary information to identify their needs, and proposing appropriate solutions.
Duties:
- Locate parts and accessories to distribute to company staff or sell to the public;
- Sell parts to customers at the counter, through the workshop, or by phone;
- Plan parts purchases based on needs;
- Handle the receipt and shipment of parts, as well as maintain proper filing;
- Participate in inventory management.
The main duties are listed above, but the incumbent may be assigned other tasks.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of various mechanical components;
- Computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, SERTI (an asset);
- Neat and professional appearance;
- Excellent physical condition and ability to lift heavy loads;
- Attentive, positive, and proactive attitude;
- Any combination of education and experience will be considered.
