Job summary:

The Internal Service Advisor supports sales managers and the new and used vehicle departments in assessing repairs and work to be performed on vehicles. He or she analyzes inspection reports, estimates, and technical requirements to recommend appropriate actions based on quality standards, costs, and the company’s profitability.

Key eesponsibilities:

- Analyze mechanical and cosmetic inspections of new and pre-owned vehicles;
- Assess the necessity of repairs and work to be performed;
- Advise directors and managers on decisions regarding repairs, warranties, or reconditioning;
- Estimate the costs of mechanical, cosmetic, and preparation work;
- Collaborate with the service, parts, and mechanical shop departments;
- Monitor work progress and repair records;
- Verify the compliance and quality of work performed;
- Prioritize work based on operational needs and profitability goals;
- Keep technical information, estimates, and file records up to date;
- Help improve processes related to vehicle preparation and management.
