Job description

Landry Automobiles is looking for a Parts Clerk to join its after-sales service team.

We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented and customer-service-focused individual who can efficiently manage parts requests, orders, inventory and support for both technicians and customers.

The ideal candidate has experience in the automotive industry, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills with customers, suppliers and team members.

Main responsibilities
- Greet customers in person or by phone and advise them in choosing the right parts;
- Accurately identify the required parts according to customer and technician needs;
- Process parts orders, including preparing purchase orders, verifying prices and invoicing;
- Respond to internal requests from the service department and mechanical shop;
- Receive, inspect, label and store parts;
- Prepare parts for repairs, counter sales or shipping;
- Help maintain inventory and stock control;
- Follow up with suppliers and customers as needed;
- Maintain a clean, efficient and well-organized workspace.

Qualifications and skills required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in an automotive parts department;
- Experience in the automotive industry required;
- Knowledge of Mopar products is an important asset;
- Knowledge of CDK software is a considerable asset;
- Good computer skills and ability to use inventory management systems;
- Ability to read and interpret parts catalogues and technical diagrams;
- Strong organizational skills, rigor and attention to detail;
- Ability to work quickly and manage several requests at the same time;
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills;
- Bilingualism in French and English, in order to serve our French-speaking and English-speaking customers.
