Job description

Sales Manager wanted.

Position summary :

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, driving profitability, developing sales consultants, and ensuring the consistent execution of dealership processes.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver strong sales performance while independently managing daily sales operations, maintaining accountability throughout the department, and supporting the dealership’s overall success.

Key responsibilities:

Team leadership and development:

- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales consultants.
- Provide daily coaching and leadership on the showroom floor.
- Conduct deal reviews and assist with negotiations when required.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.
- Hold team members accountable to dealership standards and expectations.
- Identify and develop future leaders within the organization.

Sales performance:

- Achieve dealership objectives for vehicle sales, gross profit, F&I performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Maximize every sales opportunity.
- Monitor showroom traffic, appointments, test drives, and deliveries.
- Ensure proper follow-up on all customer opportunities.
- Maintain strong closing ratios and sales productivity.

Process & CRM Management:

- Ensure all customer interactions are documented accurately in the CRM.
- Verify that every lead, appointment, and showroom opportunity is properly worked.
- Enforce dealership sales processes and standards.
- Monitor pipeline activity and ensure timely follow-up.
- Maintain data accuracy and reporting integrity.

Performance monitoring:

Track, analyze, and report key performance indicators, including:

- Showroom traffic.
- Internet and phone leads.
- Appointments set.
- Appointment show rate.
- Closing ratio.
- Units sold.
- Gross profit per unit.
- F&I income per unit.
- Deliveries completed.
- Deliveries scheduled.
- Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).

Accountability and execution:

- Take ownership of departmental responsibilities and results.
- Ensure tasks, projects, and customer commitments are completed on time.
- Identify issues proactively and implement corrective actions.
- Present solutions rather than simply reporting problems.
- Work closely with Fixed Operations, Finance, and Administration to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain clear communication with management regarding opportunities, challenges, and action plans.

Performance expectations:
