Sales Manager - Pre-Owned Vehicles

The Motion Group is seeking a Pre-Owned Vehicles Sales Manager to join one of its dealerships in Longueuil. We are looking for a motivational, results-oriented leader with solid experience in automotive sales management and building high-performing teams.

Reporting to senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall performance of the used car sales department, for meeting volume and profitability targets, and for the customer experience.

Key responsibilities:

    • Manage, mentor, and motivate the used car sales team;
    • Set and achieve sales, margin, and performance metric targets;
    • Ensure compliance with sales processes, manufacturer standards, and group policies;
    • Analyze results, produce reports, and implement continuous improvement strategies;
    • Collaborate closely with the finance, marketing, after-sales service, and executive management departments;
    • Oversee new vehicle inventory management (orders, turnover, aging);
    • Actively participate in recruitment, training, and talent development;
    • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, from initial contact through vehicle delivery;
    • Handle complex situations and customer escalations with professionalism.

Qualifications:

    • At least 5 years of experience in automotive sales, including at least 2 to 3 years in a management role;
    • Experience as a Sales Manager or Assistant Manager is a major asset;
    • Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate others and perform well in a results-oriented environment;
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team management skills;
    • Proficiency with computer tools and automotive CRM systems (CDK, Serti, Dealertrack, or equivalent);
    • Bilingualism in French and English required.
