Mechanic

Job description:

We are looking for a Mechanic with solid experience in mechanical work.

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

- Performing repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment with engines, transmissions, etc.;
- Diagnosing problems and estimating the time required to complete repairs;
- Be able to identify the parts needed for repairs using parts diagrams and verify wiring diagrams;
- Occasionally perform repairs on electrical or battery-powered products;
- Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements:

- Hold a Vocational Diploma in small engine mechanics or automotive mechanics;
- Have at least 5 years of full-time experience as a mechanic in a repair shop;
- Possess strong analytical skills and good judgment;
- Be thorough and detail-oriented;
- Be self-motivated and a good team player;
- Be resourceful;
- Be open to learning how to repair equipment incorporating new technologies;
- Have a good command of spoken French.

Pay: $22 to $40 per hour (depending on experience).
