Job description
Do you enjoy customer service? Do you have some knowledge of accounting?
The Claims Officer handles the billing of work orders and submits claims to suppliers. The candidate tracks warranty claims and parts returns.
Main responsibilities:
- Thorough understanding of all warranty guidelines from manufacturers and other suppliers;
- Meet deadlines for the various tasks in the warranty department;
- Analyze, prioritize, and track the billing of work orders;
- Analyze, track, and ensure compliance with deadlines for the various claims processes;
- Share new ideas for improvement with department staff;
- Ensure the department meets its profitability goals;
- Contribute to the team effort.
Required skills:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a related field;
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet);
- Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of mechanics;
- Knowledge of basic accounting.
