The Sales Manager, within an auto dealership, is a highly qualified professional responsible for assisting the Sales Director with general supervision, team management, salesperson training, and the coordination of automotive sales activities.

Their primary role is to support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.

What are the duties and objectives of a Sales Manager?

The main duties and objectives of a Sales Manager include:

- Developing sales targets and action plans with the Sales Manager;
- Staying up to date on industry developments to better manage salesperson training;
- Supervising the sales team and providing guidance to ensure optimal performance;
- Participating in the design and implementation of effective sales strategies;
- Analyzing sales results and proposing adjustments as needed;
- Regularly following up with customers in Activix and prospects to maximize sales opportunities;
- Managing vehicle displays;
- Performing all other related tasks.
