Parts Clerk

PARTS CLERK - Full-time, permanent position!

Chevrolet Buick GMC de LaSalle is currently seeking a Parts Clerk for a full-time position to join its team!

As a key member of the after-sales service team, the incumbent will welcome customers to the parts department—including retail, internal, and wholesale clients—gather the necessary information to identify their needs, and propose appropriate solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Sell parts to all customers at the counter, through the service department, or over the phone;
- Handle the receipt and shipment of parts, as well as maintain their inventory;
- Search for parts and accessories to provide to company staff or to sell to the public.

The main duties are listed above, but the incumbent may be assigned other tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Hold apprentice or journeyman certification;
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the automotive field and its various mechanical components; experience at GM is a significant asset;
- Be skilled with computers; knowledge of the SERTI system is a plus;
- Have a neat and professional appearance;
- Be attentive, with a positive and proactive attitude.
