Diesel Mechanic (Full-time Position)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary responsibility of the person in this position, in collaboration with the team of technicians, will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines as well as the mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems of heavy-duty vehicles or motorized equipment.

The individual will also be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, identifying malfunctions, proposing appropriate solutions, and ensuring the compliance and safety of the equipment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
    • Heavy vehicle mechanics certification or equivalent;
    • Experience in diesel mechanics (trucks, heavy machinery, or industrial equipment);
    • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills;
    • Speed and efficiency;
    • Team spirit and good collaboration;
    • Professional attitude and commitment to providing excellent service;
    • Knowledge of electronic systems and diagnostic tools (a plus);
    • Valid driver’s licence.
