Service and Parts Advisor

CDF ProMecanique is looking for an experienced and motivated Parts and Service Advisor to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The position:

As a Parts and Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers, suppliers and technicians. You will play an essential role in planning, communicating and following up on repairs while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Main responsibilities:

- Schedule and coordinate customer appointments;
- Welcome customers, understand their needs and clearly communicate relevant information to technicians;
- Prepare accurate repair estimates;
- Present customers with repair and service options suited to their needs;
- Order, receive and organize parts and supplies;
- Manage parts inventory and related invoicing;
- Explain invoices and completed work to customers;
- Process payments and purchase orders;
- Assign work and effectively manage technician workloads;
- Process warranty claims;
- Manage parts and core returns;
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, suppliers and the technical team.

Profile we’re looking for - to succeed in this position, you must have:

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Parts Advisor or Service Advisor;
- Strong knowledge of automotive mechanics, including cars, light trucks and trailers;
- Excellent knowledge of automotive parts, their applications, tires and ordering processes;
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
- Basic computer skills;
- Excellent punctuality and reliability;
- Fluency in French and English.
