Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) - Two Bays, One Technician, Real Earning Power

This role may also be known as: 310S Technician, Automotive Service Technician, Dealership Service Technician

Train through Kia University, including factory-backed Advanced EV Diagnostics.
Most shops give a technician one bay and call it a day. This one gives you two. That single difference changes what a flat-rate day actually looks like - less waiting on a vehicle to clear before you can start the next job, more turns, more billable hours, more pay. Add an air-conditioned, modern shop with up-to-date equipment and an electronic dispatch system that keeps work flowing, and you have a setup built around technician output, not just technician presence.

Factory training runs through Kia University, both online and in person, backed by hands-on coaching from the Service Manager, with Advanced EV Diagnostics training provided as vehicles shift toward electric. What You'll Be Doing
 

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles to resolve mechanical and performance issues
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to manufacturer guidelines
• Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems
• Communicate directly with service advisors and customers about findings and repairs
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• Help train and mentor junior technicians as needed
• Stay current on evolving automotive technology, including EV systems

What We're Looking For
 

• Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician license
• Proven, hands-on dealership experience in automotive repair and maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic proficiency
• Familiarity with automotive electrical systems
• Comfortable communicating clearly with service advisors and customers
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• EV diagnostics experience is a nice-to-have and considered a major asset
• Kia-specific brand experience is a nice-to-have

Compensation & Work Model
$40 to $42 per hour, flat-rate structure. A $500 annual tool allowance and a work-boot allowance are provided on top of pay, along with medical, dental, and PTO, and 2 weeks of vacation to start. This is an on-site role.
