Job description
We are looking for a responsible Mechanic who is passionate about the automotive industry to join our team at the Canadian Tire Auto Center.
Under the Shop Manager's supervision, the person in this position will perform various maintenance and repair tasks on customers’ vehicles while providing professional and courteous service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on various types of vehicles;
- Perform oil changes, inspections, and replacements of brakes, suspension and steering components, tires, batteries, filters, and other parts;
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using the appropriate tools and equipment;
- Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks;
- Provide professional and respectful customer service;
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient service.

Specific requirements:
- Hold a recognized automotive mechanics certification;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience;

- Ability to perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and various automotive repairs;
- Demonstrate attention to detail, independence, and professionalism;
- Adhere to safety standards and the workshop’s work procedures.
