Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
    • Complete all documentation required for warranty claim processing, submit claims to manufacturers or suppliers, and follow up on their status.
    • Ensure all claimed amounts comply with manufacturer or supplier warranty guidelines.
    • Monitor warranty claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
    • Review denied warranty claims and, when appropriate, resubmit them promptly or obtain authorization to write them off.
    • Review and reconcile warranty credits.
    • Provide the Accounts Receivable department with the documentation required to process accounting entries, receivables, payments, and warranty credits.
    • Train internal staff on warranty policies, procedures, and updates.
    • Stay informed of all manufacturer recalls and technical service bulletins.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

The successful candidate must possess an intermediate level of English proficiency, particularly in reading and writing, in order to read, interpret, and prepare communications issued by the vehicle manufacturer.

    • Automotive mechanical knowledge is required.
    • Previous experience managing warranty claims for an automotive manufacturer or dealership is considered a strong asset.
    • Comfortable using multiple computer platforms and software applications.
    • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
