Daily responsibilities: Your avenue toward success
Strategy, planning, and performance
• Establish and monitor monthly and annual objectives (sales, revenue, margins, and expenses) for the department;
• Manage the operating budget and optimize financial performance;
• Develop innovative strategies for prospecting, sales follow-up, and conversion;
• Maximize revenue through the optimal use of financing, insurance, and after-sales programs;
• Collaborate with financial institutions for exceptional approvals;
• Oversee lease renewals and recommend strategic actions to management;
• Participate in the development of marketing, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
Operations management and customer experience
• Supervise assistant sales managers and ensure smooth operations within the sales department;
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience from the initial contact through vehicle delivery;
• Ensure an after-sales service appointment is scheduled at the time of delivery to promote customer retention;
• Review, approve, and submit transaction sheets to accounting;
• Manage commission sheets and ensure payroll records compliance;
• Support used vehicle departments with trade-in evaluations;
• Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty;
• Stay informed of applicable laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
Inventory management, purchasing, and evaluations
• Review and optimize inventory daily to ensure efficient vehicle turnover;
• Oversee inter-dealer vehicle exchanges;
• Plan the strategic display of vehicles in the showroom and on the lot;
• Appraise used vehicles or oversee appraisals;
• Ensure price labels comply with the Consumer Protection Act;
• Develop and maintain an external vehicle purchasing and sales network.
Leadership and human resources management
• Lead daily and weekly team meetings;
• Ensure ongoing training, coaching, and employee engagement for supervised staff;
• Actively participate in recruitment efforts;
• Conduct performance evaluations;
• Support sales consultants in achieving their objectives;
• Assist with closing major transactions;
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and performance-driven work environment;
• Ensure effective communication between departments;
• Respond promptly to email requests;
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude;
• Perform any other related duties assigned by management.

Desired profile
• Several years of experience in automotive sales;
• Minimum of three (3) years of team management experience;
• Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;
• Proven leadership skills and results-oriented mindset;
• Excellent organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to prioritize;
• Comfortable with technological tools (MS Office, CRM, and management software);
• Strong understanding of the automotive market and key performance indicators;
• Strong attention to detail, strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused approach.
