Main responsibilities:
• Supervise and direct all aspects of the vehicle sales department;
• Implement all new vehicle sales department systems, schedules and procedures;
• Maintain a high percentage of customer satisfaction at all times;
• Actively manage the sales department and sales staff at all times during business hours, ensuring that all customers are greeted;
• greeted promptly and incoming calls are answered immediately;
• Assist in the closing of all new and used vehicle sales with sales and leasing consultants;
• Ensure that all sales consultants follow the sales process by training them in trade evaluation, appointments, customer follow-up and telephone management

• Supervise the activities of the receptionist(s), sales administrator(s) and yard person(s) to ensure that they are performing their duties effectively and

• Work with the Service Manager to ensure timely preparation of new vehicles for delivery;
• Conduct regular meetings with sales staff to plan, modify and review all ongoing issues and programs;
• Promote ongoing training, including daily and weekly sales team meetings, manufacturer training programs, and sales team

• Meet with the General Manager to review monthly forecasts, performance reports for the department and sales staff;
• Track and publish daily performance of sales staff;
• Manage all keys in a secure and organized manner to prevent theft and improve efficiency in locating keys when needed;
• Handle customer complaints to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction;
• Perform other duties as required and as directed by management.
