Subaru Lachute is looking for an experienced automotive Technician specializing in electrical diagnostics and engine repairs to join its team. If you enjoy tackling technical challenges, solving complex problems, and using your expertise to deliver high-quality work, this position is for you!

Responsibilities:

Diagnostics and repairs:

- Perform diagnostics on mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using specialized diagnostic tools and computer systems;
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic system failures;
- Repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle components;
- Perform major repairs such as engines, transmissions, differentials, and other powertrain components.

Maintenance and inspections:

- Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, suspension, tire installation, etc.);
- Perform inspections related to manufacturer warranties and recall campaigns;
- Inspect pre-owned vehicles.

Technical support and collaboration:

- Collaborate with the manufacturer's technical support line on more complex diagnostics and repairs;
- Properly document issues encountered when required;
- Share your knowledge and collaborate with other team members;
- Work closely with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to ensure efficient customer service;
- Consult manufacturer technical bulletins and service information.

Standards and safety:

- Follow manufacturer standards and repair procedures;
- Comply with safety guidelines and environmental regulations;
- Accurately document all work performed in vehicle service records.

Requirements:

- Significant experience in electrical and electronic diagnostics;
- Experience with engine diagnostics and repairs;
- Strong knowledge of computerized diagnostic equipment;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Subaru experience (an asset).

Additional information:

- Salary scale based on certification level;
- Work schedule: Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Training

- DVS in automotive mechanics or equivalent experience;
- Class A, B or C CPA card.
