Journeyman Automotive Technician

The Wood Automotive Group, one of Alberta's largest automobile retailers for over 40 years, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Journeyman Automotive Technician to join our Big 4 Motors team!

About the role:
 

• The successful candidate will have a strong background in repairing all makes and models, with Chrysler specific experience in electrical diagnostics, drivability, A/C diagnostics, etc. Chrysler specialty training in related skill group would be an asset.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
 

• Complete repairs as per estimates completed in a timely fashion
• Road test vehicle after repairs are complete to ensure repairs are done properly
• Maintain high quality of workmanship to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain tools, equipment and shop
• Diagnose problems using proper procedures
• Clarify concerns with service advisor as required
• Recommend additional repairs as required
• Complete vehicle inspections (out-of-province and safety inspections)

Requirements:

 

• Journeyman Automotive Technician Certificate
• A clean and current driver's abstract
• A valid AB driver's license
