Automotive Mechanic Apprentice (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year)

AUTOMOTIVE APPRENTICE MECHANIC – 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Year – Atelier VS Pro / Point S in Saint-Hubert!

Atelier VS Pro is looking for a motivated 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year automotive Apprentice Mechanic to join a dynamic and rapidly growing team.

We are looking for a resourceful, quick learner who is passionate about cars and wants to grow in a modern environment with a steady workload in both customer service and vehicle preparation.

Duties:

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, brake, suspension, and steering inspections, and general maintenance);
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using specialized tools (basic diagnostics);
- Repair or replace defective parts (engine, transmission, suspension, etc.);
- Perform comprehensive inspections and recommend necessary repairs;
- Conduct test drives to verify repairs;
- Maintain up-to-date maintenance records and work reports;
- Comply with safety standards and help keep the workshop clean and organized;
- Communicate with technical advisors or customers regarding repairs;
- Perform mechanical preparation of used vehicles;
- Work collaboratively with technicians and technical advisors.

Desired profile:

- 1st, 2nd, or 3rd-year Apprentice;
- Vocational Diploma in automotive mechanics (completed or in progress);
- Valid driver’s licence;
- Positive attitude and team spirit;
