Technician - Mechanic - Class 1 or 2

HGrégoire Kia Vaudreuil is looking for a Class 1 or 2 Technician / Mechanic for a permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

- Perform repairs listed on work orders accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards;
- Diagnose issues based on customer complaints and your own inspections;
- Perform necessary repairs and coordinate with the parts department to obtain required parts;
- Inspect vehicles to identify any additional maintenance or safety needs;
- Promptly notify the technical advisor or foreman if additional work is required or if certain repairs cannot be performed;
- Install optional equipment requested by the customer or the dealership;
- Conduct test drives as needed to verify the quality of repairs;
- Accurately document the work performed and recommendations on repair orders;
- Report any equipment defects or issues to your immediate supervisor;
- Participate in continuing education and stay informed of the manufacturer’s technical bulletins;
- Perform other related tasks as needed by the department.

Required Qualifications:

- Experience in automotive mechanics (minimum 1 year required);
- Specialization in wheel alignment (a plus);
- Ability to work quickly and attention to detail;
- Strong observational skills and meticulousness;
- Good physical condition.
