General Manager - St-Basile

Olivier Hyundai St-Basile is currently seeking a General Manager to join its team. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the used car industry who is ready to make a significant impact on the sales floor.

Our dealership stands out for achieving ambitious sales targets, with over 1,400 pre-owned vehicles and 750 new vehicles sold annually, ranking among the top performers in the region!

Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the entire dealership;
- Foster a culture of excellence focused on customer satisfaction and develop team skills through ongoing coaching;
- Demonstrate direct involvement in all sales opportunities and maintain an active presence on the sales floor;
- Develop and implement effective strategies to meet and exceed profitability targets;
- Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing management team aligned with business objectives;
- Ensure strict adherence to the manufacturer’s and company’s norms, policies, and standards.

Requirements:

- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in the automotive sector;
- Possess experience in sales and the fixed-asset department;
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the used vehicle department (sourcing, appraisal, and marketing);
- Be proficient in industry IT systems: Merlin, Serti, and Activix (a plus);
- Demonstrate leadership skills and experience in team management;
- Possess a solid understanding of financial principles and retail sales;
- Possess excellent analytical and decision-making skills;
- Be strongly results-oriented, with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
