Accounting Clerk

Job Summary :

Reporting to the Controller, you will act as a support to the Controller and to the accounting department. You will be responsabile for performing various accounting-related tasks requiring knowledge of the accounting cycle as a whole.

Main duties:

    • Complete the end of period entries in order to reconcile certain accounts;
    • Compile reports showing statistics such: comparative reports, floorplan, etc;
    • Accounting and reconciling the daily deposit of sales and service operations;
    • Prepare timesheets and reconcile commission payments and other data required for payroll preparation;
    • Prepare checks;

Your strengths

    • Knowledge of accounting principles;
    • Versatile and dynamic;
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team work;
    • Basic computer proficiency (i.e., Word, Excel);
    • Detail-oriented;
    • Education in the field of accounting (DEC, University certificate or Bachelor’s degree);
