In this role you will beresponsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and repair of a variety of machinery and equipment within our facility.
Should you be interested in overseeing these tasks and aiming for enhanced performance standards, your role will involve:
- Performelectricalmaintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairs on production equipment, machinery, automated systems, and plant facilities to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Diagnoseandresolveequipmentfailures involving PLCs, HMIs, sensors, drives, relays, motor controls, VFDs, conveyors, and other automated manufacturing systems to minimize downtime.
- Executepreventiveandpredictivemaintenanceprograms, identifying recurring issues and implementing corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Supportequipmentinstallation,commissioning,andcontinuousimprovementprojects, including machinery upgrades, modifications, and optimization of existing systems.
- Ensurecompliancewithelectrical,safety,andregulatorystandards by following lockout/tagout procedures, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and collaborating with production, engineering, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues.
If you have/are:
- ValidElectricianCertificateofQualification(309AConstruction&MaintenanceElectricianor442AIndustrialElectrician) required.
- Minimumof3-5yearsofindustrialmaintenanceexperience, with strong expertise in troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment and electrical systems.
- ThoroughknowledgeoftheOntarioElectricalSafetyCode, lockout/tagout procedures, preventive maintenance practices, and industrial safety standards.
- Strongtechnicalskillsinelectricalcontrolsandautomation, including PLC troubleshooting, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatics, hoist cranes, motors, and control systems.
- Workingknowledgeofindustrialfacilitysystems, including boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, and the ability to coordinate and monitor work performed by external contractors and vendors.

Rate for the role: $44.48/hr (plus shift premiums and COLA)
