Job Description:

Job Summary: 

Leads a team focused on Corporate business unit analysis and the consolidated entity, providing data analytics for the organization and leadership team to drive business insights to strengthen the organization. Supports the Decision Support team in the consolidation of key planning documents including annual budgets and forecasts. Brings together cross-functional stakeholders within the Company. Working closely with the Vice President Finance, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for creating relevant, accurate, and timely information and insights that will drive critical strategic, operational, and financial decisions across the Company. The Sr. Manager is a leader that drives the team by example, exhibiting a hands-on work ethic and whose team delivers concise analysis. The team, under the Sr. Managers leadership, thrives on creating and delivering value-added analyses and insights to all aspects of the business.

Key Job Responsibilities 
 

  • Timely, concise and consistent management reporting, including dashboards, ad-hoc business trends, and recurring monthly business review information for Corporate & consolidated business units, including insights and recommendations to improve business performance
  • Lead the planning and consolidation of the company's annual budgeting and recurring weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasting process to ensure that both internal and external financial benchmarks are tracked and achieved
  • Identify opportunities within ad-hoc and recurring financial reporting and refine associated processes to improve transparency and accuracy of reporting
  • Develop and execute an enterprise data and analytics strategy and overall roadmap to address information requirements across business units to improve overall reporting and operating efficiency and enable quantitative and qualitative analytics. Drive decision-making through the application of sound modeling, data-driven analysis, research and business judgment
  • Develop and deliver standardized and ad-hoc dashboards and reporting using a variety of reporting tools (e.g., DOMO, Google, PPT etc.)
  • Manage staff including hiring, training, and coaching


Education and/or Experience Required (including certifications)
 

  • Degree and designation in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline (CPA, CFA, CBV or MBA-Finance required)
  • 8 - 12 years of experience building financial models, forecasts and operational reports for a multiple location organization
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Google sheets, and/or Microsoft office (including experience with Excel pivot tables)

  • Analytical mindset with ability to make recommendations based on data
  • Detailed oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • DOMO and/or Workday experience is an asset but not required
  • Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Experienced in converting data to create meaningful information to support decision making
  • Strong understanding of KPIs, dashboards and financial reporting
  • Specialized knowledge in Automotive Collision Repair or the Automotive Service Industry is an asset
  • Investment Banking or equivalent experience is considered an asset
  • Experience and background in data science, machine learning, product management, AI and GenAI is considered an asset

  • Valid passport required, may be required to travel up to 25% of the time within the US and Canada

Compensation Details:

$120,000 - $150,000 / Year

Compensation is commensurate with skill, education and experience. 

Supplemental Pay: 
This position may also be eligible for Bonus opportunities tied to individual or business initiatives
