Job Title
Our client, an industry leader in automotive development, is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer to join their team. As a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer, you will be part of the vehicle development department supporting vehicle performance optimization and simulation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Windsor, ON
What's the Job?
- Responsible for Vehicle Dynamics Performance optimization using State of the Art Driving Simulator.
- Operate and support the Driving Simulator to evaluate vehicle performance and validate suspension architecture, tire, and steering requirements.
- Support and lead vehicle programs through analysis and optimization of suspension, steering, and tires for full vehicle ride and handling.
- Collaborate with Advanced Packaging, Chassis, and Powertrain teams to establish architectural hardpoints for steering and suspension components.
- Document and communicate development activities and results to management and team members.
What's Needed?
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited or equivalent program.
- 3+ years of experience in vehicle dynamics simulation, preferably using ADAMS/Car and/or CarSim.
- Experience creating controllers in MATLAB and Simulink.
- Strong understanding of Ride and Handling, Kinematics, and Compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams.
