Service Advisor

An American-brand automotive dealership on the North Shore of Montreal is currently looking for a Service Advisor to join its After-Sales Service team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, has strong organizational skills and knows how to build lasting relationships based on trust.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their visit to the Service Department while ensuring effective communication between customers and workshop personnel.

Your main responsibilities:

- Welcome customers during their service appointments and clearly understand their needs;
- Prepare, manage and finalize repair orders;
- Advise customers on necessary vehicle maintenance and repairs;
- Recommend relevant additional services based on identified needs;
- Work closely with technicians to ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out efficiently;
- Keep customers informed about repair progress, costs and estimated completion times;
- Follow up with the Warranty Department, insurance companies and fleet managers as required;
- Ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction;
- Actively contribute to the department's performance and results.

Ideal candidate:

- Relevant experience as a Service Advisor (experience with an American automotive manufacturer is an asset);
- Good understanding of Service Department operations;
- Strong communication, sales and customer service skills;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively;
- Professional attitude, independence and strong teamwork skills;
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written;
- Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
