We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated 1st Class Journeyman / 2nd Class Journeyman to join our dynamic team. What You'll Do:

    • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and technical manuals to identify mechanical or electrical issues in vehicles.
    • Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
    • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts accurately.
    • Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to guide assembly, troubleshooting, and repair processes.
    • Assist with vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.
    • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
    • Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and repair logs for each vehicle serviced.
    • Mentor/serve as a technical resource for apprentice mechanics in the shop.
    • Support ongoing maintenance programs by proactively identifying potential issues before they become major problems.

What You'll Bring:

    • Proven experience as a mechanic or technician within an automotive dealership or similar environment with a minimum of 8 years experience.
    • Valid certification as a 1st Class Journeyman or equivalent A-Level Technician status.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models with an emphasis on automotive repair techniques.
    • Hands-on experience with assembly work, schematics interpretation, and the use of hand tools and power tools.
    • Mastery with diagnostic equipment and electronic testing devices used in modern automotive repair.
    • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
    • Valid driver's licence with a clean abstract.
