Penske’s Customer Service Representative greets and assists customers upon arrival while performing basic tasks. These duties include inspecting the fuel station, fueling and washing vehicles, picking up and delivering vehicles and parts, maintaining the location, replacing tires, performing daily inspections of short-term rental vehicles leaving and returning, pricing and stocking parts, and completing other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.

Main Responsibilities:
• Activate fuel pumps and fuel gasoline or diesel vehicles according to required levels;
• Check vehicle tire pressure, fuel levels, engine oil and transmission fluid levels, antifreeze and other fluids; adjust air pressure and fluid levels as needed;
• Clean windshields and wash vehicles;
• Perform minor repairs such as installing pre-mounted tires on rims and changing engine oil and oil filters;
• Prepare daily reports regarding fuel, oil, and other product and accessory sales;
• Order merchandise, price items, and place them in designated areas upon arrival;
• Rotate or replace tires;
• Provide customers with information regarding local roads and highways;
• Clean parking areas, offices, washrooms, and equipment, and remove garbage;
• Perform other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications Required:
• Preference given to candidates with at least 1 year of customer service experience;
• Basic mechanical skills;
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Class 5 driver's license required, Class 3 license preferred. However, candidates must be able to obtain a Class 3 license within 6 months of employment;
• Candidate must be willing to work in environments where temperature is not controlled;
• Preference given to candidates with basic computer skills to enter data into computerized maintenance systems;
• Regular, predictable, and full attendance is an essential function of the position;
• Candidate must be willing to travel within the district (immediate geographic area), work according to the required schedule and location, complete Penske’s employment application, and undergo reference checks (including previous employment and academic background).

• The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move loads weighing up to 12 kg / 25 lbs, frequently lift and/or move loads weighing up to 23 kg / 51 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move loads weighing up to 45 kg / 100 lbs.
• This position requires the ability to see near and far, have good peripheral vision, perceive depth, and adjust focus.
• While performing job duties, the associate must regularly stand, walk, sit, speak, and listen. They must also frequently use their hands and arms to touch, feel, handle, and reach.
