MB7 Auto Parts Inc. is a major player in the auto parts industry, recognized for its professionalism and quality service for over 50 years. We are the go-to source for mechanics and individuals looking for reliable parts and equipment.
We are an auto parts store located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and are looking for a parts clerk who is passionate about cars and has exceptional customer service skills. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing outstanding service and addressing their technical needs regarding our products and services.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and advising customers on identifying and selecting the auto parts best suited to their needs;
- Answering technical questions from customers and mechanics;
- Ensuring clear and effective communication with customers to guarantee their satisfaction;
- Entering accurate data into our management system;
- Identifying upselling opportunities based on customer needs;
- Collaborating with the sales team to improve the customer experience;
- Processing parts orders, from receipt to delivery or pickup;
- Handling parts returns and warranties according to established procedures;
- Use electronic catalogs and computer systems to search for and order parts;
- Help keep the sales counter and warehouse clean and organized.
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills;
- Fluency in French; knowledge of English and another language (a plus);
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Data entry skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Previous experience in a similar role (a plus);
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position (sales or technical consulting);
- Knowledge of automotive parts and systems: engines, brakes, suspensions, etc. (a significant asset, but not required);
- Proficiency with computer tools and parts catalogs (inventory management and ordering software);
- Strong customer service and communication skills;
- Independence, a positive attitude, versatility, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential qualities we seek;
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Training
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in automotive mechanics or parts sales, or equivalent experience (a plus).
