Auto Body Technician/ Bodyman

Roles and Responsibilities:

Damage Assessment:
Inspecting vehicles to determine repair procedures and reviewing estimates.

Frame & Panel Work:
Pulling structural frames to original specs, and replacing or hammering out damaged metal and plastic panels. Handle fixing minor cosmetic scratches and dents to realigning severely bent vehicle frames.

Finishing:
Sanding, grinding, and filling surfaces to prep them for the paint and refinishing process.

Assembly:
Removing and reinstalling interior trim and mechanical components as required by the repair scope.

Skills:

Proficiency with welding equipment, frame machines, power tools, and pneumatic hand tools.
