FIX AUTO ST-MARTIN IS HIRING AN AUTO BODY REPAIRER!

The Auto Body Repairer restores damaged vehicles to their original structural integrity, functionality, and appearance. They use specialized tools to repair or replace parts, perform welding when necessary, and ensure repairs meet industry standards. They work closely with the estimating, prep, and paint departments to ensure an efficient workflow.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- Review damage reports and plan the required repair work;
- Repair and replace body components according to manufacturer standards;
-Straighten vehicle structures, remove dents, and perform welding when required;
- Replace panels, doors, windows, and other vehicle components;
- Inspect repaired vehicles and ensure proper operation;
- Document completed work and maintain a safe work environment;
- Keep knowledge up to date regarding new technologies and repair techniques;
- Collaborate with team members;
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations;
- Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or post-secondary diploma in Automotive Collision Repair (an asset);
- 2 to 5 years of experience as an Auto Body Technician;
- Valid driver's licence;
- Excellent automotive body repair skills;
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure;
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
