Job description
Gestion D.Pressault Inc., operating under the Canadian Tire banner, is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Auto Center Manager to oversee the overall management of its automotive service center. The successful candidate will play a key role in operational performance, customer satisfaction, and team engagement, in an environment where service quality, safety, and profitability are top priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate all auto center activities.
• Oversee workshop operations, customer service, and the sale of automotive products and services.
• Motivate, mentor, train, and evaluate team members to ensure a high level of performance.
• Set sales, productivity, and profitability goals, then implement the necessary action plans to achieve them.
• Ensure the quality of work performed, compliance with internal procedures, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.
• Manage schedules, budgets, operating costs, and relationships with local suppliers.
• Handle requests, resolve complaints, and maintain a professional and efficient customer experience.
• Monitor performance metrics and recommend continuous improvements to optimize the center’s results.
Qualifications:
• Relevant management experience in the automotive, service, or retail industry.
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of auto repair shop operations and automotive service.
• Ability to manage priorities, solve problems, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer tools and workshop management or work order software.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license.
