Job Description:
The Automotive Sales Team Leader will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the new and used car sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Team Management:
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager to supervise and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets;
• Participate in meetings to discuss individual and team performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Training and Development:
• Provide training to develop the sales team’s skills;
• Ensure ongoing training on new products, sales techniques, and company policies to maintain a high level of professionalism.
3. Sales Management:
• Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and implement corrective actions as needed;
• Develop action plans to boost sales and maximize opportunities.
4. Customer Relations:
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers;
• Resolve customer issues and handle sensitive situations.
5. Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare reports on the sales team’s performance;
• Use data and analysis to identify market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
6. Compliance with Standards and Policies:
• Ensure the team adheres to customer service standards and company policies;
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws applicable to the automotive industry.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive sales;
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team toward achieving goals;
• Ability to communicate effectively with the sales team, management, and customers;
• Strong negotiation skills for dealing with customers, partners, and suppliers;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage stress related to sales pressure;
• Bilingualism: excellent communication skills in French and English, both oral and written;
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
