Service Manager

Our dealership on the Island of Montreal is seeking a Service Manager who is passionate about the customer experience, operational performance, and team development.

Reporting to senior management, the incumbent will be responsible for the overall management of the after-sales service department to optimize profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, while maintaining the brand’s high standards.

Your main responsibilities:

- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all operations within the after-sales service department;
- Motivate, mentor, and develop the team of technical advisors, technicians, and administrative staff;
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Establish and monitor departmental performance metrics (profitability, productivity, efficiency, CSI, billable hours, etc.);
- Implement strategies to support the achievement of operational and financial objectives;
- Oversee warranty claims, recall campaigns, and relations with the manufacturer;
- Work closely with the sales, parts, and administration departments to ensure effective synergy among teams;
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Desired profile:

- Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing an automotive service department;
- Inspirational leadership and excellent team management skills;
- Strong focus on customer service and results;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
- Good understanding of performance indicators and fixed operations;
- Proficiency in the SERTI system (required);
- Knowledge of the brand’s norms, processes, and standards (required);
- Education in management, administration, or a related field (a plus).
