Driver and Yard Attendant

Girard Automobile is looking for a dynamic, professional, and versatile limousine driver and yard attendant to join its team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the customer experience as well as in the maintenance and organization of the dealership.

Main responsibilities:

Shuttle service and customer transportation:

- Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy;
- Drive customers to and from the dealership while their vehicle is being repaired or serviced;
- Ensure safe, comfortable, and professional driving at all times;
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the courtesy vehicle or limousine;
- Efficiently schedule trips according to the service department’s schedule;
- Provide a customer experience that reflects Girard Automobile’s quality standards.

Yard management and organization:

- Park vehicles according to established procedures and locations;
- Move vehicles between departments as needed;
- Maintain a rigorous inventory of vehicles;
- Check fuel levels and recharge electric vehicles as needed.

Facility maintenance and general support:

- Ensure the general cleanliness of the lot and dealership grounds;
- Perform basic exterior maintenance: trash pickup, cleaning of common areas, and maintaining the appearance of the grounds;
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the dealership’s physical spaces;
- Ensure that entrances, sidewalks, and traffic areas remain clean and safe;
- Provide logistical support to the sales and service teams as needed;
- Perform various related tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Required qualifications and skills:

- Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with an excellent driving record;
- Have a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service;
- Be punctual, reliable, and self-motivated;
- Enjoy working outdoors and be able to work in various weather conditions;
- Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Be able to perform physically demanding work and remain active throughout the day;
- Have a positive attitude and be a good team player;
