Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Bilingual Service Advisor to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and French, has prior experience in an automotive service environment, and is proficient with the SERTI DMS system. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage both customer-facing responsibilities and internal service operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, in both English and French;
- Accurately assess customer needs and document vehicle concerns;
- Open, manage, and close repair orders using the SERTI DMS system;
- Communicate recommended services, timelines, and costs clearly to customers;
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work;
- Create and manage internal work orders for dealership vehicles and reconditioning;
- Monitor repair progress and provide regular updates to customers;
- Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with dealership standards;
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and follow-ups to maintain high satisfaction levels;
- Support warranty processing and ensure proper coding where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership;
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written);
- Proficiency with SERTI DMS (required);
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities;
- Excellent communication and customer service skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Basic mechanical knowledge is considered an asset.
