  About the Position:
  Harvey & Company is looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Auto body Technician/Painter to join our team in Corner Brook, NL. Our shop specializes in the repair and refinishing of heavy-duty trucks and commercial equipment. This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in heavy equipment and truck refinishing while learning from experienced technicians.
  
  Responsibilities:
  
  • Assist painters with preparation and refinishing of heavy-duty trucks and commercial vehicles
  • Sanding, grinding, masking, and priming truck panels and components
  • Preparing surfaces for paint including cleaning, body prep, and minor filler work
  • Mixing paint and materials under supervision
  • Maintaining spray equipment, tools, and a clean work area
  • Supporting the team to ensure quality finishes and efficient turnaround of trucks
  • Following shop safety procedures and proper use of PPE
  • Interest in pursuing a career in heavy-duty truck or industrial painting
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Mechanical or shop experience is considered an asset but not required
  • Full-time, stable employment
