Fleet Attendant - Regina

Transdev Canada is hiring a Fleet Attendant for our Regina location. 

As a Fleet Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet remains clean and presentable by washing, sanitizing, and maintaining the exterior and interior of buses to meet company standards. 

Your role: 
 

• Perform daily cleaning and servicing of fleet vehicles to maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicle interiors and exteriors to identify dirt, debris, vandalism, damage, or cleanliness concerns.
• Wash vehicle exteriors using appropriate equipment and cleaning products, including pressure washers, brushes, and approved cleaning agents.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors, in-floor tracking, and other interior areas to remove dirt and debris.
• Empty garbage containers and remove litter from vehicle interiors.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including dashboards, handles, stanchions, operator compartments, and other frequently used areas.
• Clean interior windows and mirrors to maintain clear visibility and a professional appearance.
• Spot clean or deep clean seats, restraint systems, and securement equipment using appropriate tools and cleaning methods.
• Remove graffiti, stains, and other contaminants from vehicles and report any persistent issues requiring further attention.
• Complete scheduled monthly deep-cleaning activities for all fleet vehicles, including thorough cleaning of interiors, exteriors, seating areas, sidewalls, doors, floors, and operator compartments.
• Fuel vehicles and ensure they are serviced, stocked, and prepared for daily operation.
• Accurately complete required cleaning logs, inspection records, and other documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Support vehicle positioning, yard organization, and fleet preparation activities as required.
• Communicate vehicle condition issues, cleanliness concerns, or maintenance needs to Operations and Management.
• Protect the confidentiality of information observed or encountered during the course of work.
• Provide assistance to coworkers and support operational requirements as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.

Your profile: 
 

• You hold a valid Class 5 driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• You have previous experience in vehicle detailing, commercial cleaning, janitorial services, transportation, automotive services, or a similar role is considered an asset.
• Ability to meet company and insurance requirements for operating fleet vehicles.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and tools, including pressure washers, vacuums, extractors, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to identify and report vehicle cleanliness concerns, damage, vandalism, or maintenance issues.
• Ability to follow established procedures, safety practices, and work instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout a shift.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
• Successful completion of any required background screening.

• This is a non-union full-time position based in Regina, SK.
• Schedule is Saturday-Sunday 08:00AM-4:00PM and Monday-Wednesday 3:00PM-11:00PM.
