D18 Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to minimize downtime, support productivity, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment at Triple E Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Work with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems as required.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify root causes to determine appropriate repairs or corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication, inspection, adjustment, replacement of worn components, and safety checks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize production downtime.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment issues as required.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards, equipment concerns, and maintenance needs.
• Follow established safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and other team members to support efficient operations.
• Adapt to changing priorities and schedules based on equipment breakdowns, production requirements, and maintenance needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

• Legal right to work in Canada.
• Valid Manitoba Driver's Licence.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment commonly used in maintenance work.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move around manufacturing and facility areas for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including noisy, dusty, dirty, and outdoor environments.
• Ability to work around fiberglass dust and other manufacturing-related odors and materials.
• Microsoft Office experience is considered an asset.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is considered an asset.

Working Conditions

 

• On-site position, Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Work is performed in office, production, facility, and outdoor areas.
• The role may involve exposure to noise, odors, dust, fiberglass dust, and other conditions associated with a manufacturing environment.
• Outdoor work may be required and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
• The position may require responding to equipment breakdowns and changing maintenance priorities.
