Overview

Richwil Truck Centre Ltd. is currently seeking a responsible, highly-motivated individual to join our ever-growing service department in Woodstock, and fill the new Shop Controller position.

This position provides critical support to the service manager in overseeing the service department's efficient operations.

Richwil Truck Centre Ltd. is a full-service International® Truck dealership, carrying a full line-up of new International trucks, used trucks and trailers by Fontaine and Deloupe, located in Woodstock and Fredericton, NB, and proudly providing parts and service to The Maritimes since 1985.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Assisting the Service Manager by supporting the shop foreman in daily operations and strategic planning, and developing/implementing operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Assist in managing, supervising and monitoring the service team's performance by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge
• Engaging with customers to better understand their concerns, service requirements, and expectations while assisting in resolving customer inquiries, complaints and issues in a timely manner to maintain customer satisfaction
• Provide technical support and expertise to technicians during complex repairs or troubleshooting by collaborating with technicians to ensure accurate diagnostics, efficient repairs, and effective utilization of technical resources
• Compliant with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Promote adherence to safety protocols, equipment handling, and relevant industry standards within the service department

Qualifications
 

• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Good computer skills
• Dedicated to customer satisfaction
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience as a diesel/automotive technician considered an asset
• Previous experience in managing or supervising a team is considered an asset
• Previous experience working in a service department is preferred
• CDK/ADP software knowledge is considered an asset
• A problem solver
