Parts Advisor

The Opportunity

Volkswagen Moncton is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor.

We are seeking someone who is self-motivated and wants to deliver exceptional customer service to their customer. We value individuals who take pride in their work, show initiative, and want to be part of a cohesive team.
 

• Regular schedule: Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm.
• Some flexibility will be required for 7:30am starts or 5:30pm finishes as needed.
• You will be required to work rotational Saturdays during the Spring and Fall tire season, from 9am to 1pm.

Responsibilities
 

• Provide customer service at the Parts counter
• Answer the phone and reply to emails from customers inquiring about parts
• Up-sell or suggestive sell parts to customers based on their needs
• Maintain inventory control and proper stock levels
• Perform physical inventory to ensure all stock levels are accurate on the system

Qualifications
 

• High school diploma or equivalent. College diploma is preferred
• Previous experience in a Parts role is required
• Bilingual in English and French is preferred
• Excellent listening and communications skills
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
• Able to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Has a general understanding of automotive systems and parts
• Must be alert to sales opportunities by taking the time to ask customers questions and provide information about parts and services

This role pays a combination of hourly wages and bonus. The total annual compensation is between $45,000 to $55,000.
