Wire EDM Operator

An industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stampings and assembly has a career opportunity for a Wire EDM Operator. We are a full-service tooling provider of both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies.

This is for a vacant position.

Wage range $23.00 - $27.00

Job Summary

 

• Set up, Program and operate wire EDM machines (Makino)
• wire burn tool steel / Die components
• Routine maintenance / troubleshooting EDM equipment and software
• Work with CNC coordinator

Job Requirements

 

• Minimum 3 years experience in a Tool & Die industry
• Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics
• Effective interpersonal skills and team mentality
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good organizational skills
