Automotive Service Technician (Southtown Hyundai)
Edmonton, AB
If you're an experienced Red Seal Journeyman Automotive Service Technician looking for steady hours, strong earning potential, and a dealership that keeps its technicians busy, Southtown Hyundai wants to hear from you.
We're looking for a skilled Journeyman or experienced Automotive Technician who can work independently, diagnose efficiently, and deliver quality repairs in a fast-paced dealership environment. High-performing technicians have a clear path to significantly increase their earnings.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair customer vehicles
- Perform maintenance and repair work on brakes, steering, suspension, electrical systems, HVAC, cooling systems, driveline components, and engine systems
- Complete digital inspections and repair recommendations
- Create accurate repair stories using condition, cause, and correction documentation
- Record customer-facing repair videos
- Road test vehicles for diagnosis and quality assurance
- Perform warranty and recall repairs
- Collaborate with Advisors, Parts, and fellow Technicians
- Maintain a safe, organized work area
What You Bring
- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification or equivalent experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Previous dealership experience preferred
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license
- Strong written documentation skills
- Experience with CDK or dealership management systems is an asset
- Positive attitude and commitment to quality workmanship
