Who You Are

GFX Solutions is currently searching for an Office Administratorto join our Operations team in Oakville, Ontario.

In this role, you are responsible for a wide range of office related tasks while providing administrative support for the organization to ensure efficiency in its daily office operations.

What You Can Expect From the Role:

The responsibilities of the Office Adminstrator team member are as follows:

 

  • The first person a caller or visitor meets
    • Is professional, polite and helpful
    • Receives all incoming calls and must direct to the appropriate personnel as there are no direct lines to each office within the company
  • Receives incoming mail, opens and sorts and distributes accordingly.
    • Performs all ASN/EDI for shipping
  • Prepares work orders for shop floor and enters data to the FX system
    • Reconciles the information to the FX systems based on the packing slips received by the Production Manager each day
  • Weekly check-ups for inventory of office supplies and coffee supplies and orders accordingly as well as production related materials
    • Is responsible for maintaining Health and Safety supplies, including First Aid
    • Arrange for the provision of materials and supplies for meetings which may include refreshments and or food
  • In the vent of problems with any fax machine or photocopier, responsible to call the appropriate service company and follows up to ensure machine is in good operating condition.


What Qualifications and Skills Do You Possess?

 

  • A minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Basic computer skills desired but will train as necessary.
  • Team orientated
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge QS9000 a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication as well as organizational skills.
  • Maintain a valid Class G Driver's License.

  • Salary Range: $40,000 to $50,000 annual Salary
