Co-op, National Sales

Scarborough, Ontario (Hybrid)

The anticipated hourly rate for this position ranges from $21/hour to $26/hour, with final compensation based on the candidate's completed co-op work terms.

Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a National Sales co-op under the Dealer Standards and Sales Operations department. During your placement, you will work in a dynamic environment with an enthusiastic and engaged team, with a passion for sales and marketing. This is a contract opportunity, and the individual will report to the Manager of Field Sales Operations.

Co-op Program Initiatives
 

  • Case competition - work as a team with co-op students to solve a real-world business problem
  • Co-op Events (business acumen series, past & present series, final presentation)
  • Social lunches - connect with co-op students from all departments


What You'll Be Doing:
 

  • Develop a strong understanding of Toyota National Sales operations, focusing on both retail and fleet sales
  • Assist with the review and processing of Dealership advertising co-op claims
  • Assist the fleet team with building customer tenders and presentations
  • Analyze and report on key Toyota sales performance indicators, including monthly Dealership sales results
  • Analyze and report on competitive sales performance
  • Conduct special project research related to automotive industry and make recommendations to management
  • Assist in preparing presentations and meeting summaries
  • Coordinate activities between TCI and Regional Zone Offices
  • Monthly 'sell sheets' and payment comparisons
  • Payment administration for dealer incentive programs
  • Conduct other tasks and activities as requested in support of Toyota National Sales
  • Gain knowledge on Toyota's business practices and efficient problem-solving
  • Get involved in other areas you are interested in


What You'll Bring:
 

  • Currently enrolled in a college/university business co-op program
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organization, relationship-building and communication
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of automotive industry and dealership operations is an asset
