FLEET MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR - RED DEER (RDC)

The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Fleet Maintenance Manager in all aspects of fleet and equipment maintenance and management. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure that Trican's core value, "Safe equipment and operations" is the priority in all activities
  • Administer and manage the HP Iron Integrity Program and HP Hosing
  • Responsible for major component (power end/transmission) inventory management, procurement, repair, and exchange
  • Leads the procurement, management, repair, and exchange of all Trican fluid end assets
  • Sources, selects and develops all Trican fluid end consumables
  • Performs research on new technologies and sources/advises on new technology
  • Manage, maintain, and develop vendor relationships
  • Maintain and repair auxiliary assets as requested

 
Experience & Skills:

 

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license required
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license preferred
  • 10 Years' Pressure Pumping experience required
  • Mechanical/maintenance background required
  • WHMIS
  • TDG
  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid
  • Extensive technical and practical knowledge of operations, products, company policies, and government regulations
  • Admirable interpersonal and teamwork skills conveyed in a pleasant and professional manner when interacting with employees, management, and customers
  • Sound analytical and interpretational skills
  • Skilled in applying problem-solving techniques to complications that may arise
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to prioritize multiple activities with tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to changing working conditions
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, at a fast pace and produce quality work
  • Ability to be organized and follow a systematic method of performing a task
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel as well as working knowledge of financial modelling techniques and programs

Working Conditions:

 

  • Regular office hours Monday - Friday (5 days on/2 days off)
  • Hours are 8:00AM - 5:00AM
  • On call 24-hours during shift
  • Some travel required
  • Must live near base of employment
  • Pre-employment medical testing required
  • Working in all weather conditions
