TG Minto Corporationis a division of Toyoda Gosei, a World-class automotive supplier with 67 group companies in 17 countries. With locations in Palmerston and Stratford Ontario, we are a tier 1 supplier of interior/exterior assemblies for Toyota/Lexus and Honda/Accura.Our main processes are plastic injection molding (including processes such as two shot, gas assist etc.), paint, thermoforming, and PU injection. Process Engineers play a vital role in supporting the development and then production of high-quality parts.By working in our technical department or in one of our production departments, there are endless growth opportunities for anexciting and dynamic careerin the Automotive Industry.

The primary location of this position is based out of Palmerston, Ontario but requires occasional travel to Stratford location. The position will be reporting to the Manager of Injection Engineering. The focus and main responsibility of this position is for injection molding matters.

Compensation and Benefits

 

  • Starting wages of $34 per hour 
  • Paid overtime after 40/hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure the parts made in injection meet the quality, cost and delivery requirements. Troubleshoot issues and concerns and implement countermeasures.
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes.
  • Kaizen processes to eliminate waste and reduce cost.
  • Create and update documentation such as process plans, communicate with other departments for other types of documentation.

Please note that prior knowledge of the software we are using (Moldflow, Catia, JDE etc.) - is not required, you will train with the Injection Eng. department.

Qualifications:

Education or Experience:

 

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university with engineering specialization; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum three years in the automotive industry.
  • Experience with Injection Molding processes is not necessary but is considered an asset.
