What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, commercial trucks, and light-duty vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance following manufacturer specifications.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues on hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure workplace safety standards are consistently met.
What We're Looking For:
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 310T Red Seal Certification (preferred) or equivalent mechanical training.
- 1-2 years hands-on experience in vehicle/equipment maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable transportation to our shop location.
- Valid driver's license with clean record.
Bonus Points For:
- Construction or heavy equipment experience.
- Hydraulic system knowledge.
- Computer diagnostic experience.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- Location: Waterloo Region (rural shop location).
- Overtime opportunities available.
- Some travel to job sites may be required.
- Immediate start available for right candidate.
